ORIGINAL BREAK-UP
Original Break-Up:
The pattern that camouflaged America:
As the mid-1990s approached, Bottomland and the rest of Mossy Oak’s array of patterns had established themselves as favorites among whitetail and turkey hunters. The every day man's camo that folks felt confidently concealed in.
But we were still missing one true sticks and leaves flagship pattern, born in deer camp but at home everywhere from Arkansas duck season to early season spring mornings.
By the time Break-Up had made its way through the woods, even grizzly old trappers in Norway were wearing Mossy Oak. What was once “the woodsman's secret” was now known everywhere hunters took to the woods. Break-Up ushered in a new era for Mossy Oak, and 30 years later, it remains a uniform for old school woodsman and as versatile as any sticks and leaves pattern ever designed.
When Break-Up made its debut in the woods, Mossy Oak was still “the woodsman’s secret.” After the decade came to a close, Break-Up had become an icon of old school pattern design.
